Warehouse9 goes down in gear for Queerlands 2019.
Join us this Pride Saturday in slow and gentle resistance to collectively reimagine and create an alternative space for togetherness on this hyper-commodified day.
On this Pride Saturday, consider supporting your local queer activists and organisations, and help to reclaim the resistance of pride.
Queerlands is not part of the official Copenhagen Pride programme.

13.00-18.00 Artist-in-Residence: Xavier de Sousa & Andre Neely (PT/UK)
Open door studio exhibiting Xavier and Andre's on-going research into the intersections between art and activism and the ethics of reproducing protest actions. For this event the space will focus on the co-option of Pride-related protests over the years, with recorded interviews and inputs from some of the activists organising for alternative pride events in Copenhagen.
17.00-17.45 Quim live on piano
Quim will be showcasing songs from their soon to be released EP Bøsse. All songs will be performed in stripped down versions with Quim at the piano. In between songs Quim will be doing readings of their writings, that transcends any particular genre, but are often dark humored and critical of the gender norm.
18:00 - 22:00 Vegan Pot-luck Dinner
Come and share some food and conversation in queer company.
Everyone is welcome, just remember to bring some vegan food for sharing. Your dish is your admission.
18.00 - Arrive from and add your food to the buffet table.
19.00 - Pot-luck dinner is served.
21.00 - Collective clean. Post dinner hang for those who want to stick around.
22:00 - 02:00 Queer bar with KAPOW COLLECTIVE
Kapow Collective is an activist movement for women and queers. They build and occupy space to educate each other and break down society's repression mechanisms with a focus on gender issues. They mix music, art, activism and creativity in a hardcore medley. Kapow is a strange revolution that breaks down gender norms and the status quo! It is a platform, a forum and a network that is based in the Candy Factory, Copenhagen.
